So a good mix of dogs in the top ten films (Marley, Lucy, Lady), Television (Lassie, Mr. Muggles, Mr. Peabody), books (Kipper), comics (Merle), and real life ( Libertad). Not surprisingly, nine of the first ten characters are dogs and dogs are not real life, with freedom only after a dog in real life. Pity those brave pioneers t aren Soviet Space Dog 'know better, so I'll mention their names again: Laika, Lisa and Mushka.
